Phoenix Tribal #27

Pen & ink on bristol board, 11x14.

Sorry this took so long.  It sounds dramatic, but I really did agonize over line placement and line thickness.  I knew from the moment I finished the initial drawing that it was going to be one my personal favorites so I took my time with it.

I'm going to finish my book for The Sketchbook Project before I start another tribal.

Do you think I should just leave it as is?  It looks pretty good with all the lines hollow.

I'm going to try something different and keep some of the lines hollow.  Maybe include some more negative space elements?  I'm still undecided.

I'm excited about this one.  I'm going to try and avoid any sharp angles and go super smooth all the way.
